- Group A: For players rated above 1900 FIDE on the July 1st rating list.
- 9-round Accelerated Swiss System.
- Group B: For players rated below 2100 FIDE on the July 1st rating list.
- 9-round Swiss System.

Until May 31st:
- €60 General Entry.
- €30 FACV licensed players.
- GM/IM/WGM/WIM titled players: free entry.
- FACV Technification and Pre-Technification “A” players: free entry.
From June 1st:
- €80 General Entry.
- €40 FACV licensed players.

Important:
- Prize payments will be made by bank transfer and are subject to applicable tax withholding according to current legislation.
- Players must submit all payment-related documentation to FACV within 5 calendar days after the end of the tournament; otherwise, prizes will expire.
- Payments will be processed within a maximum of 10 business days after correct submission of the required documentation.
- FACV may request a copy of the ID card / NIE / Passport from prize winners in order to process payments.
Prizes are not cumulative, except for the Valencian Community prize, and will be awarded in order of highest monetary value. In case of equal value, priority will be: General and Women’s prizes. Rating categories are open.
ELIGIBILITY
Players competing under the Spanish FIDE flag must hold a federation license. Players competing under a federation other than ESP must have a valid FIDE ID.

- FIDE Buchholz Cut 1
- Total FIDE Buchholz

BYES
- In general, up to 2 half-point byes will be allowed during the first 6 rounds.
- Byes may not be granted to invited players with conditions.
- Byes must be requested directly from the Chief Arbiter.
- Requests for Round 1 byes must be sent only to the tournament arbiter’s email address (available on Info64). All other byes must be requested within 1 hour after the start of the round, in the playing hall using the official form.

- The accommodation system consists of 4-room apartments (3 single rooms and 1 double room) with a shared bathroom.
- The price per person per day with full board is €65.
- All rooms are air-conditioned.
- The residence includes leisure and recreation rooms.
- Laundry service is not included in the price.

- Reservations will be accepted until June 10th.

OTHER REGULATIONS
- An unjustified no-show for one round, or two absences even if justified, will result in withdrawal from the tournament and loss of prize rights. A player who has already requested a zero-point bye may not justify an absence afterward.
- Players are expected to maintain appropriate dress and personal hygiene standards for an international chess tournament. The organization reserves the right to expel any participant who does not comply with instructions in this regard.
- A Tournament Appeals Committee will be formed consisting of the Tournament Director and two players.
- Pairings will be generated using VEGA software.
- FACV reserves the right to deny entry to future open tournaments to players who register and fail to appear, or who withdraw without informing the arbiter, unless the absence is properly justified.
- Food consumption and beverages without caps/lids will not be allowed in the playing hall to prevent spills.
- By registering, participants accept these regulations and the FACV Privacy Policy https://www.facv.org/aviso-legal. The organization may take photographs during the tournament for news and promotional purposes. Participants may express objections through the website contact form at https://www.facv.org/contactar.
- The top three players in the final standings must attend the closing ceremony unless prevented by force majeure previously communicated and accepted by the organization. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of prize rights.
- Any matter not specified in these regulations shall be governed by FACV, FEDA and FIDE Competition Rules or resolved by the organization.
- An invited player with conditions provided by the organization must participate except in exceptional circumstances (force majeure), such as illness or incapacity. Acceptance of another invitation or participation in another tournament or event shall not be considered a valid reason for withdrawal or non-participation.
